Ao longo de nossa experiência de mais de oito anos atuando com organizações religiosas, temos percebido que é imenso o universo das que deixam de usufruir dos direitos constitucionais a elas inerentes, garantidos através da imunidade tributária dos templos religiosos. Inicialmente, entendo que tal fato se deve à questão educacional, pois, nos diversos cursos de preparação para qualificação de líderes religiosos, não há um estudo específico a capacitar os alunos em conhecerem e lidar com a administração pública, em especial com o fisco nas diversas esferas governamentais. Por sua vez, os que já administram, e aqui falo de todos os envolvidos na administração da instituição religiosa, de forma direta através da diretoria e seus componentes, como também aqueles que assessoram e prestam serviços técnicos necessários ao funcionamento legal, desconhecem ou já ouviram falar superficialmente sobre o tema, mas não buscam conhecer e, consequentemente, deixam de usufruir desses direitos constitucionais.
