The Neuroptera of Malesia
This volume brings together much hitherto highly scattered information on lacewings and their allies known from Malesia. It includes keys to generic level, notes on the diversity and representation of each genus, and comments on the faunal relationships within the region. Each of the twelve families is defined, and information on biology and any economic importance summarised. A regional checklist of all species recorded from Malesia and nearby areas, with original references to descriptions of all taxa. Use of the book by non-specialists is facilitated by illustrations of many characteristic and diagnostic structural features, and a glossary explains much of the technical terms employed.
A Grammar of the Prākrit Languages
Prakrit has a vast literature but it had no systematic comprehensive grammar. Scholars like Vararuci, Hemacandra, Trivikrama, Markandeya, Laksmidhara, Krsna Pandit, Ramasarana Tarkavagisa had indeed their own grammars but they differed immensely in respect of their contents. Lessen was the first who tried to systematize Prakrit grammar but he wrote in Latin. Then came Pischel who analysed not only the extant grammars but studied minutely the whole of extant Prakrit literature and collected first hand information about this important language.

This volume deals with the Heteroptera aquatica, or water bugs, known from Malesia, a region holding almost 1000 species belonging to seventeen families. The book includes keys to all families and genera, and provides information on their taxonomy, morphology, biology, distribution and economic importance. A checklist of the species recorded from Malesia and nearby areas, with references to original descriptions of all taxa, is included. The book is illustrated by more than 500 drawings and 35 distribution maps. A glossary explains the technical terms is employed. An extensive list of references will enable readers to trace all pertinent taxonomic literature published up to the end of 2003.

The Deonomasticon Italicum provides a systematic historical treatment of, and commentary on, the lexemes of Italian derived from proper names. It covers both derivations from geographical names (including those from ethnic roots, which are of especial interest both for the history of vocabulary and for cultural history) and from the names of persons. The first part of the Dictionary (4 volumes) is devoted to derivations from geographical names, the second (2 volumes) to the names of persons.
