Chi ha ucciso Ponzio Pilato?
Giallo-storico ambientato a Roma e Gerusalemme nell'anno 33 dopo Cristo. Gesù è stato crocifisso, deposto, sepolto e il terzo giorno è resuscitato. Nello stesso giorno viene trovato nell'Orto degli Ulivi il cadavere del Governatore Ponzio Pilato con uno stiletto infisso nel collo. Panico in Palestina: si teme una ritorsione cruenta di Roma. Chi sarà stato? Pilato è stato ucciso per vendetta? Oppure c'è sotto una cospirazione politica contro Cesare Tiberio Augusto? L'Imperatore, in aderenza allo IUS Romanus, vuole vederci chiaro prima di far radere al suolo Gerusalemme e incarica un suo fedele, il Senatore Caius Julius Pollìcius, di recarsi in Palestina a investigare e riferire. L'Inviato imperiale dopo alcune traversie giunge a Gerusalemme dove raccoglie informazioni, sospetta, interroga vari personaggi e infine dipana l'intricata matassa e risolve il caso.
