La sanción de la Ley Nacional para la Implementación de la Educación Ambiental Integral N° 27.621/21 (EAI) es una oportunidad para encontrar nuevos sentidos a las prácticas educativas promoviendo experiencias colectivas, situadas y territorializadas a favor de la sustentabilidad, el conocimiento, la valoración, el respeto y la protección del ambiente en clave de derechos. A lo largo del libro se proponen ejes nodales que sustentan y fundamentan su abordaje en la primera infancia: la alfabetización ambiental en sentido amplio, la construcción de la afectividad ambiental y la formación de ciudadanías críticas, participativas y democráticas. Tomando como punto de partida dichos fundamentos y con la intención de acompañar a las y los docentes en el diseño de propuestas de enseñanza, se plantean y desarrollan principios que contemplan los pilares de la didáctica de la educación inicial. Con la intención de aproximarse a su implementación en diversos territorios y contextos, se comparten proyectos institucionales y recorridos didácticos llevados a cabo en diferentes provincias de la Argentina.
