An Introduction to Covariant Quantum Mechanics
This book deals with an original contribution to the hypothetical missing link unifying the two fundamental branches of physics born in the twentieth century, General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics. Namely, the book is devoted to a review of a "covariant approach" to Quantum Mechanics, along with several improvements and new results with respect to the previous related literature. The first part of the book deals with a covariant formulation of Galilean Classical Mechanics, which stands as a suitable background for covariant Quantum Mechanics. The second part deals with an introduction to covariant Quantum Mechanics. Further, in order to show how the presented covariant approach works in the framework of standard Classical Mechanics and standard Quantum Mechanics, the third part provides a detailed analysis of the standard Galilean space-time, along with three dynamical classical and quantum examples. The appendix accounts for several non-standard mathematical methods widely used in the body of the book.

The Diverse World of PDEs
This volume contains the proceedings of the Alexandre Vinogradov Memorial Conference on Diffieties, Cohomological Physics, and Other Animals, held from December 13–17, 2021, at the Independent University of Moscow and Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia. The papers are devoted to various interrelations of nonlinear PDEs with geometry and integrable systems. The topics discussed are: gravitational and electromagnetic fields in General Relativity, nonlocal geometry of PDEs, Legendre foliated cocycles on contact manifolds, presymplectic gauge PDEs and Lagrangian BV formalism, jet geometry and high-order phase transitions, bi-Hamiltonian structures of KdV type, bundles of Weyl structures, Lax representations via twisted extensions of Lie algebras, energy functionals and normal forms of knots, and differential invariants of inviscid flows. The companion volume (Contemporary Mathematics, Volume 789) is devoted to Algebraic and Cohomological Aspects of PDEs.

Ingegneria e dintorni
Negli anni ’70 la proposta di far nascere una nuova facoltà universitaria nell’ambito dell’Ateneo fiorentino, già ricco di storia e di tradizioni, fu senza dubbio un’iniziativa che tendeva a movimentare anni di vita operosa e tranquilla; molto forte fu l’impegno di docenti e studenti per realizzare questo proposito. Una storia della nascita di questa nuova facoltà è stata già scritta, tuttavia non sempre è stato messo in risalto l’impegno di coloro che, una volta ottenute le necessarie autorizzazioni, si adoperarono nei primi anni con grande impegno e fatica, affinché quanto auspicato avvenisse nel migliore dei modi. Questo breve ricordo è proprio dedicato a quei colleghi, necessariamente pochi, che si sobbarcarono a questo onere con grandissima fiducia ed entusiasmo.
