English summary: In May 1926, in Paris, a Jewish emigre watchmaker from Ukraine named Scholem Schwarzbard shot and killed the former president of the Ukrainian National Republic, Symon Petliura. Seventeen months later Schwarzbard was exonerated by a Paris court, even though he confessed to the crime and pleaded no mitigating circumstances. The assassination and trial, in which the murders of many thousands of Jews in Ukraine in 1919 became a central issue, riveted public attention in France and around the world and sent the relations between Jews and Ukrainians, Europe's two largest stateless national minorities, into highly fraught new directions. The volume presents newly-discovered archiv...

This book, entitled "The Green Energy Technology", covers technologies, products, equipment, and devices, as well as energy services, based on software and data protected by patents and/or trademarks. The recent trends underline the principles of a circular economy such as sustainable product design, extending the product's lifecycle, reusability, and recycling. These are highly related to climate change and environmental impact, and limited natural resources require scientific research and novel technical solutions. This book will serve as a collection of the latest scientific and technological approaches to "green"-i.e., environmentally friendly and sustainable-technologies. While the focus is on energy and bioenergy, it also covers "green" solutions in all aspects of industrial engineering. Green Energy Technology addresses researchers, advanced students, technical consultants and decision-makers in industries and politics. This book is a comprehensive overview and in-depth technical research paper addressing recent progress in Green Energy Technology. We hope that readers will enjoy reading this book.
The present book covers the main challenges, important for future prospects of subsoils extraction as a public effective and profitable business, as well as technologically advanced industry. In the near future, the mining industry must overcome the problems of structural changes in raw materials demand and raise the productivity up to the level of high-tech industries to maintain the profits. This means the formation of a comprehensive and integral response to such challenges as the need for innovative modernization of mining equipment and an increase in its reliability, the widespread introduction of Industry 4.0 technologies in the activities of mining enterprises, the transition to "gree...
Discussing Italian Fascism, scholars start with the year 1922, not just the last years of the system, including the 1938-1943 racial laws. It appears that it takes some time for a fascist system to establish itself (Lyttelton, 2004). Therefore, it is essential to recognise the early warning signs of fascism to avoid its emergence in full bloom.Clerical fascism is a specific type of fascism. It is a nationalistic political system rejecting liberal democracy considered hostile to the 'Christian tradition', social changes, including women's rights and sexual liberalism, and a notion of 'restoring' Western culture (Pollard, 2007, p. 434).This publication argues why it is justifiable to consider ...
