Complex Analysis and Dynamical Systems VI
This volume contains the proceedings of the Sixth International Conference on Complex Analysis and Dynamical Systems, held from May 19–24, 2013, in Nahariya, Israel, in honor of David Shoikhet's sixtieth birthday. The papers range over a wide variety of topics in complex analysis, quasiconformal mappings, and complex dynamics. Taken together, the articles provide the reader with a panorama of activity in these areas, drawn by a number of leading figures in the field. They testify to the continued vitality of the interplay between classical and modern analysis. The companion volume (Contemporary Mathematics, Volume 653) is devoted to partial differential equations, differential geometry, and radon transforms.
Amitsur Centennial Symposium
This volume contains the proceedings of the Amitsur Centennial Symposium, held from November 1–4, 2021, virtually and at the Israel Institute for Advanced Studies (IIAS), The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Israel. Shimshon Amitsur was a pioneer in several branches of algebra, the leading algebraist in Israel for several decades who contributed major theorems, inspiring results, useful observations, and enlightening tricks to many areas of the field. The fifteen papers included in the volume represent the broad impact of Amitsur's work on such areas as the theory of finite simple groups, algebraic groups, PI-algebras and growth of rings, quadratic forms and division algebras, torsors and Severi-Brauer surfaces, Hopf algebras and braces, invariants, automorphisms and derivations.

Infinite Products of Operators and Their Applications
This volume contains the proceedings of the workshop on Infinite Products of Operators and Their Applications, held from May 21-24, 2012, at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel. The papers cover many different topics regarding infinite products of operators and their applications: projection methods for solving feasibility and best approximation problems, arbitrarily slow convergence of sequences of linear operators, monotone operators, proximal point algorithms for finding zeros of maximal monotone operators in the presence of computational errors, the Pascoletti-Serafini problem, remetrization for infinite families of mappings, Poisson's equation for mean ergodic operators, vector-valued metrics in fixed point theory, contractivity of infinite products and mean convergence theorems for generalized nonspreading mappings. This book is co-published with Bar-Ilan University (Ramat-Gan, Israel).

Integral Geometry and Tomography
This volume consists of a collection of papers that brings together fundamental research in Radon transforms, integral geometry, and tomography. It grew out of the Special Session at a Sectional Meeting of the American Mathematical Society in 2004. The book contains very recent work of some of the top researchers in the field. The articles in the book deal with the determination of properties of functions on a manifold by integral theoretic methods, or by determining the geometricstructure of subsets of a manifold by analytic methods. Operator Algebras and Their Applications
his volume contains the proceedings of the AMS Special Session Operator Algebras and Their Applications: A Tribute to Richard V. Kadison, held from January 10–11, 2015, in San Antonio, Texas. Richard V. Kadison has been a towering figure in the study of operator algebras for more than 65 years. His research and leadership in the field have been fundamental in the development of the subject, and his influence continues to be felt though his work and the work of his many students, collaborators, and mentees. Among the topics addressed in this volume are the Kadison-Kaplanksy conjecture, classification of C∗-algebras, connections between operator spaces and parabolic induction, spectral flow, C∗-algebra actions, von Neumann algebras, and applications to mathematical physics.
Recent Advances in the Geometry of Submanifolds
This volume contains the proceedings of the AMS Special Session on Geometry of Submanifolds, held from October 25–26, 2014, at San Francisco State University, San Francisco, CA, and the AMS Special Session on Recent Advances in the Geometry of Submanifolds: Dedicated to the Memory of Franki Dillen (1963–2013), held from March 14–15, 2015, at Michigan State University, East Lansing, Ml. The focus of the volume is on recent studies of submanifolds of Riemannian, semi-Riemannian, Kaehlerian and contact manifolds. Some of these use techniques in classical differential geometry, while others use methods from ordinary differential equations, geometric analysis, or geometric PDEs. By brainstorming on the fundamental problems and exploring a large variety of questions studied in submanifold geometry, the editors hope to provide mathematicians with a working tool, not just a collection of individual contributions. This volume is dedicated to the memory of Franki Dillen, whose work in submanifold theory attracted the attention of and inspired many geometers.
Ergodic Theory, Dynamical Systems, and the Continuing Influence of John C. Oxtoby
This volume contains the proceedings of three conferences in Ergodic Theory and Symbolic Dynamics: the Oxtoby Centennial Conference, held from October 30–31, 2010, at Bryn Mawr College; the Williams Ergodic Theory Conference, held from July 27–29, 2012, at Williams College; and the AMS Special Session on Ergodic Theory and Symbolic Dynamics, held from January 17–18, 2014, in Baltimore, MD. This volume contains articles covering a variety of topics in measurable, symbolic and complex dynamics. It also includes a survey article on the life and work of John Oxtoby, providing a source of information about the many ways Oxtoby's work influenced mathematical thought in this and other fields.
Real and Complex Singularities
This volume is a collection of papers presented at the XIII International Workshop on Real and Complex Singularities, held from July 27–August 8, 2014, in São Carlos, Brazil, in honor of María del Carmen Romero Fuster's 60th birthday. The volume contains the notes from two mini-courses taught during the workshop: on intersection homology by J.-P. Brasselet, and on non-isolated hypersurface singularities and Lê cycles by D. Massey. The remaining contributions are research articles which cover topics from the foundations of singularity theory (including classification theory and invariants) to topology of singular spaces (links of singularities and semi-algebraic sets), as well as applications to topology (cobordism and Lefschetz fibrations), dynamical systems (Morse-Bott functions) and differential geometry (affine geometry, Gauss-maps, caustics, frontals and non-Euclidean geometries).
