This book contains over 800 previously unpublished letters from Durham in Albania to friends and family back in England, as well as her correspondence with those in positions of authority – diplomats, politicians and journalists. Together, they provide a unique record of a crucial period in Albanian history from the perspective on an extraordinarily active and influential individual.
