Ho letto e riletto l'ultimo libro che ho scritto… La mia dedica a te, carissimo Lobo, e… Come non ero riuscita a iniziare un vero racconto, solo dedicato a te, Lobetto "piccolo ometto". Indirettamente un pensiero molto affettuoso va anche alla memoria di Giovanni Rosa, un uomo anziano, straordinario, che ci ha accompagnati durante i nostri viaggi, ha condiviso le nostre vittorie e le nostre glorie. Un uomo che forse è stato innamorato di me, non lo so… L'ho sempre considerato un caro amico ma quando un giorno mi ha detto: "Sono invidioso di Lobo… Tu non ti risposerai mai… È lui il grande amore della tua vita, nessun uomo può competere con questa intesa che c'è tra voi due."… Ho capito il suo stato d'animo e, poco dopo mi ha anche confessato che nel lontano 1994, alcune settimane prima del Campionato Europeo in Portogallo, ti aveva perso Lobetto… Giovanni era uscito dalla macchina per fumare l'ennesima sigaretta.
