Sophia's Wisdom

Wisdom cries out in time. In times of transition, she raises her voice. The poems of Sophia's Wisdom trace the evolution of biblical Wisdom, its enlightenment and divine person as the feminine aspect of God. The Shekinah of the Old Testament and the Sophia of the New Testament personify God's continuous presence in, even as the world. With devotional vulnerability, Michael Zysk’s third collection peers into the beginning and end of all things in the Holy Spirit. Uniting astrophysics with hermeneutics, each of the poems are openings in a sacred screen—an iconostasis—to Wisdom. Jewish, Christian, and gnostic voices speak Sophia’s Wisdom at the gate of transitions.

I wrote this book when I was at a very spiritualy and mentally dark place. It is a random thought experiemnet. Surrealist Philosophy. Its highly personal but does not constitute my feelings on the world only what I was feeling at the time and space in which it was written. Here's the back page blurb: AugustA journey into the subconscious. What starts as an experiment into surrealist automatism soon becomes a powerfully insightful philosophical diary by a 27 year old boy terrified of manhood. Bursting with antagonistic thought, rationality, spirituality, shocking honesty, self-awareness and absurd contradictions; if ever there existed a book which delves into the depths of the human mind, it is here. 31 chapters written on and around the 31 days of August 2009, this novel is something to immerse yourself in; read it from front to back and experience the great meanderings of a turbulent mind.

The Gnostic Gospel of St. Thomas

Of all the "lost" gospels of the early Christian Bible, the Gospel of St. Thomas is the most well known. According to Tau Malachi, each verse of this Holy Scripture is like an "endless well of Wisdom." Drawing upon the Holy Kabbalah, contemporary Christian thought, and wisdom of the gnostic tradition, Malachi guides the reader into a true gnostic experience-a first-hand and completely unique exploration of the sacred secrets and spiritual insights in this important gnostic text. Both intuitive and interactive, the gnostic approach to faith is a sacred quest for greater knowledge, understanding, and wisdom—a deeper penetration of the Mystery. This path leads to a higher degree of the enlightenment experience, or gnosis. The Gnostic Gospel of St. Thomas reveals how the reader can use each verse in this scripture as a source of daily contemplation and spiritual growth, while exploring the secrets of resurrection and ascension, the true role of St. Mary Magdalene in the early church, and other mystical and magical teachings.

The Oxford Handbook of Space Security

The Oxford Handbook of Space Security focuses on the interaction between space technology and international and national security processes. Saadia M. Pekkanen and P.J. Blount have gathered a group of key scholars who bring a range of analytical and theoretical perspectives to take an analytically-eclectic approach to assessing space security from an international relations (IR) theory perspective. Bringing together scholarship from a group of leading experts, this volume explains how these contemporary changes will affect future security in, from, and through space.

Through a detailed analysis of the available cultural and chronological data, this book overturns traditional ideas about the cultural history of India and proposes a different picture instead. The idea of a unilinear development out of Brahmanism, in particular, is challenged.
