Brentwood
Brentwood Borough, established in 1915, spans one of the highest ridges in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, just six miles southeast of Pittsburgh. In the 19th century, three small villages, four inns, and several blacksmith shops clustered along the rural ridge. Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of Friedrich Leberecht Weidner who was born 15 August 1811 in Germany. He immigrated to America aboard the ship "Galliott Concordia" and arrived in Galveston, Texas 25 November 1854. Friedrich was married two times in Germany and once in America. He settled in New Braunfels, Comal Co., Texas and was the father of fifteen children. Descendants lived primarily in Texas.
