Meru
Meru is referred to, talked about, heard of, compared to, and discussed about without exception in all books and discourses of religions in Bharat. Meru is regarded as the tallest and most pious mountain, having abodes of all Gods and Semi-Gods of all faiths. Unfortunately, nobody can confidently pinpoint the place of Meru in spite of indicative addresses available in scriptures. Generally, Hindus believe it to be beyond Himalayas; Buddhists say it is in Tibet; Jains say it exists, but it cannot be seen. This is because of unsatisfactory solutions to its conflicting descriptions. For example, the Sun never sets on Meru but does set at the base of it. In this book, satisfactory solutions have been explained with convincing reasons. Establishing Meru on the equator at "Bhugol Madhye," the author ventures to replace Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) with Meru Mean Time (MMT) for the reasons based on his findings. Also, the myth of fourteen Ratnas (Gems) coming out during ‘Samudra Manthan’– churning of the ocean has been explained in a lucid manner. Meru no longer remains a matter of miracle, myth or mystery but a history.
India Before Alexander
The chronology of Indian history rests on two sheet anchors. The first sheet anchor is the identification of Sandrokottos of the Greek accounts with Chandragupta Maurya, the founder of the Mauryan Dynasty. Sandrokottos was the contemporary of Alexander the Great. The second sheet anchor is linking Dev?n?mpriya Priyadar?? with A?oka Maurya, the grandson of Chandragupta Maurya. Dev?n?mpriya Priyadar?? mentions five Greek kings in his inscriptions, one of them being Antiyoka, who is currently identified as Antiochus II. According to native historians Sandrokottos is Chandragupta I of the Imperial Gupta Dynasty, and not Chandragupta Maurya. However, a satisfactory alternative explanation for the mention of Greek kings by Dev?n?mpriya Priyadar?? has not been presented by anyone yet. In this pioneering book, Dr. Raja Ram Mohan Roy presents a comprehensive analysis of the data and proposes that Dev?n?mpriya Priyadar?? was none other than Kum?ragupta I. This never before proposed identification of Dev?n?mpriya Priyadar?? opens the door for developing a new chronological framework for Indian history.

Computation in Ancient India
The material in this book presents an introduction to the Indian contributions to the science of computing. The book starts with an overview of Indian science. The next three chapters deal with the description of binary numbers, the Katapayadi notation and its equivalence to hashing that is used in computer systems, and the Panini-Backus form to describe a high-level computer language based on the ideas of the great grammarian Panini. The next two chapters describe some technical aspects of Panini's grammar and Indian logic. The Paninian structure (5th century BCE) has been shown to be equivalent to the Turing machine.
