It is surrounded by mud, muck and insects. Despite these conditions, the lotus flower perseveres and overcome these obstacles to make its way to the water surface, where it will bloom to be as beautiful as can be. This story is related to all our MLDA's family stories. No matter what our condition in life we are facing the some obstacles, sadness, illness, and death. However, like the lotus flower, there is still Hope for a beautiful life. We simply need to remain resilient, continue to grow and rise above the adversity. This book highlights our lovely children who continue to grow and remain resilient in order to live life to the fullest.
New Research on Railway Engineering and Transportation
Modern railways are no longer the sole forte of civil and mechanical engineering. They now involve a broad range of multidisciplinary engineering domains from advanced computing, digital telecommunications, and networking to big data analytics and even artificial intelligence. This book compiles technical design notes from the teams that have participated in ROBOCON Malaysia 2019. Every chapter details how the team design their robots to achieve the mission specified in ROBOCON Malaysia 2019 rules. Every report consists of three sub-topics: mechanical design, electronics circuit design and programming. The reports presented in this collection are written in English. The purpose of this book is to share and pass on the valuable knowledge of engineering and robotics to other robotic enthusiasts especially in Malaysia. Rediscovering Earthworms
This book is a concise and well-illustrated treatment of the conventional knowledge and modern utilities of earthworms. The first two chapters deal with earthworm morphology, food relationship, behavior, functional role, interaction with soil biota, and the influence of environmental factors. Earthworms found in the tropics and sub-tropics are also discussed in this section. The third chapter provides a good account of utilizing species of worms to produce high value manure through vermitechnology and its application in agriculture.
