9 x 9 – A Method of Design
An ideal design is site-specific, which is the only way architecture can create or connect with a specific sense of identity. This requires addressing the structural and local circumstances. This method handbook offers a playful way in which to systematically ascertain a complex framework and use it for your own design. The "9 x 9 method" takes all relevant factors and their alternate interaction into consideration: location, structure, shell, program, and materiality, all which, in a matrix with various intersections, produce exactly 9 "fields of action" for the design. The individual "fields" are not only illustrated visually with meaningful and eidetic pictures, but are also discussed in texts by leading specialists. For this book, the "9 x 9 method" was completely re-worked and redesigned. Argumentation and Education
During the last decade, argumentation has attracted growing attention as a means to elicit processes (linguistic, logical, dialogical, psychological, etc.) that can sustain or provoke reasoning and learning. Constituting an important dimension of daily life and of professional activities, argumentation plays a special role in democracies and is at the heart of philosophical reasoning and scientific inquiry. Argumentation, as such, requires specific intellectual and social skills. Hence, argumentation will have an increasing importance in education, both because it is a critical competence that has to be learned, and because argumentation can be used to foster learning in philosophy, history, sciences and in many other domains. Argumentation and Education answers these and other questions by providing both theoretical backgrounds, in psychology, education and theory of argumentation, and concrete examples of experiments and results in school contexts in a range of domains. La Dirección General de los Registros y del Notariado fue suprimida por Real Decreto 139/2020, de 28 de enero, por el que se establece la estructura orgánica básica de los departamentos ministeriales (artículo 2.2), siendo el órgano directivo que asume sus funciones la Dirección General de Seguridad Jurídica y Fe Pública. El Anuario del año 2019, que ahora se publica, presenta una división más racional para facilitar el uso y la consulta de sus contenidos y al mismo tiempo aprovechar las ventajas que nos ofrece la tecnología. La obra se presenta en tres grandes apartados. El apartado primero recoge las resoluciones relacionadas con la Subdirección General del Notariado y de los Registros. El apartado segundo está integrado por las resoluciones y consultas emitidas por la Dirección General de los Registros y del Notariado en relación con las materias de Nacionalidad y Estado Civil.
