Perkara ini dilaporkan dalam Persidangan mengenai Perdagangan dan Pembangunan Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu (United Nations Con-ference on Trade and Development [UNCTAD]) (UNCTAD, 2021). Kini proses pengurangan GHG daripada perkapalan antarabangsa dipercepatkan oleh IMO.
