Being stagnant in our walk with Christ leads to complacency; allowing the world to influence our words and actions more than the Word of god leads to compromise; God desires the opposite -- revival in the end times church! Just as physical viruses and bacteria can infect our bodies, there are spiritual viruses that can cause great harm to our minds and hearts as followers of Christ. Among these are what the author refers to as the two big "C's," namely complacency and compromise.
