International Society for Rock Mechanics
International Society for Rock Mechanics compiles the list of members of the International Society for Rock Mechanics (ISRM) from several nations and dependencies (countries) around the globe. The ISRM is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study and scientific investigation of Rock Mechanics, including related fields such as geology, geophysics, soil mechanics, mining engineering, petroleum engineering, and civil engineering. Each chapter representing a country in this book includes a complete lists of its engineers and geologists that are categorized into three types: National Groups (the group that represents a country); Corresponding Members; Supporting Members; and Ordinary Members. A tally of the total number of members per country is also provided. At the end of this book, the statutes of ISRM, which was approved by the Council of ISRM on September 26, 1978, are discussed and expounded in three different languages †English, French, and German. These statutes are implemented by by-laws approved by the council.

Caribbean Growth in an International Perspective
After earlier success, growth performance in most Caribbean countries has been disappointing since the early 1990s. With slower growth, output has fallen behind that of relevant comparator countries. This paper analyzes the growth experience of the Caribbean countries from a cross country perspective. Three findings stand out. First, the slowdown in growth is explained more by a decline in productivity rather than a lack of investment. Second, tourism has been a significant contributor to higher growth (through both capital accumulation and productivity) and lower output volatility, and in many countries there is scope for further expansion of this sector. Third, the small size and the fact that most of these countries are islands have limited growth. Policies aimed at improving productivity, further development of the tourism sector, and regional integration could pay dividends in terms of higher growth in the region.
Model-based Geostatistics
This volume is the first book-length treatment of model-based geostatistics. The text is expository, emphasizing statistical methods and applications rather than the underlying mathematical theory. Analyses of datasets from a range of scientific contexts feature prominently, and simulations are used to illustrate theoretical results. Readers can reproduce most of the computational results in the book by using the authors' software package, geoR, whose usage is illustrated in a computation section at the end of each chapter. The book assumes a working knowledge of classical and Bayesian methods of inference, linear models, and generalized linear models.

Corruption in Latin America
This book is the newest and one of the very few existing examinations of the full nature of corruption throughout Central and South America.
