Kapitał społeczny ludzi starych na przykładzie mieszkańców miasta Białystok
This study on social capital of seniors surveyed 26 seniors between the ages of 60 and 89 from Bialystok, Poland. The respondents were either associated with a nursing home for the elderly or with the University of the Third Age. This study emphasizes the need for older people to focus on improving their human, social and cultural capital. It also recommends that public, commercial and non-governmental institutions implement programs that can create favorable conditions for personal growth among seniors.
Nurt normalizacyjny w zarządzaniu jakością
Monografia dotyczy nurtu normalizacyjnego w zarządzaniu jakością. Przez to pojęcie rozumie się zestaw powiązanych ze sobą, ale dających się wyodrębnić zagadnień opisanych w normach (np. definicji, metod, zasad, wytycznych). Celem opracowania jest konceptualizacja tego nurtu oraz ocena jego statusu w ramach zarządzania jakością. W rozważaniach uwzględniona została zarówno perspektywa holistyczna, gdyż rozważaniami objęte są trzy normy tworzące serię ISO 9000 (tj. ISO 9000, ISO 9001 oraz ISO 9004), jak i perspektywa retrospektywna, ponieważ uwzględniono w niej zarówno aktualne, jak i wszystkie wcześniejsze wersje norm tych standardów. Ocenę znaczenia, jakości opracowania oraz użyteczności nurtu normalizacyjnego w zarządzaniu jakością przeprowadzono na podstawie opinii wyrażonych przez 73 ekspertów pochodzących z 17 różnych państw.
