English Drama 'KINNER MAA'

When I see the Kinners on the road, clapping awkwardly, I could not ignore them. I thought about how they show that they are very happy but inwardly they have an inner vacuity of life. I tried my best to speculate the inner feelings and sentiments of them. They are teased and abused on the way still they laugh but I realized how they are tortured inwardly. Then I thought of writing something about their life. The life of such persons is not a boon. In this book I want to voice against unsympathetic behavior of the people towards them. Why don't we feel that they are like us. We should pay respect and honor to them. Lalli, the heroine of the drama is a kinner who lives in the house of Mr Jatin Prasad as the Mausi of his children Aniket and Samik. She looks after them as a mother does. Everything was going on is smoothly till then it was not discovered that Lalli is a kinner. All her good qualities were shattered in a minute. The society even Aniket and Samiksha did not ready to accept her. Why? Because she is a kinner. All such a negative outlook is focused in the drama. So that society may change their opinion and give them place among the human beings.

Currently, there is a critical need to integrate diversity and inclusion into health professions curricula and to diversify educators’ approaches to teaching. The COVID-19 pandemic has most recently highlighted the systemic barriers that exist for our most vulnerable patients. To address these inequities, it is important to promote diversity and inclusion in thought, practice, and curricular content. Social and cultural experiences uniquely influence the learning experience, so a plurality of perspectives should be represented in educational material and seen in the classroom. Cases on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Health Professions Educator serves as a tool to enhance the stru...

Hydrogen Sulfide in Plant Biology

Hydrogen Sulfide in Plant Biology: Past and Present includes 17 chapters, with topics from cross-talk and lateral root development under stress, to post-translational modifications and disease resistance. With emerging research on the different roles and applications of H2S, this title compiles the latest advances of this key signaling molecule. The development of a plant requires complex signaling of various molecules like H2S in order to achieve regulated and proper development, hence hydrogen sulfide (H2S) has emerged as an important signaling molecule that regulates nearly each and every stage of a plant’s lifecycle. Edited by leading experts in the field, this is a must-read for scientists and researchers interested in plant physiology, biochemistry and ecology. Discusses the emerging roles of H2S in plant biology Presents the latest research from leading laboratories across the globe Edited by a team of experts in plant signaling

Abiotic Stress and Legumes: Tolerance and Management is the first book to focus on these important factors in legume productivity. As a primary and increasingly important food source, efficient legume productivity relies on the plant's ability to effectively adapt to environmental challenges. The book takes a targeted approach to understanding the methods and means of ensuring survival and productivity of the legume plant. It illustrates the progress that has been made in managing abiotic stress effects in legumes, including the development of several varieties that show tolerance against abiotic stress with high yield using transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic and ionomic approaches. Furt...

Plant Responses to Nanomaterials

The population of the world continues to increase at an alarming rate. The trouble linked with overpopulation ranges from food and water scarcity to inadequacy of space for organisms. Overpopulation is also linked with several other demographic hazards, for instance, population blooming will not only result in exhaustion of natural repositories, but it will also induce intense pressure on the world economy. Today nanotechnology is often discussed as a key discipline of research but it has positive and negative aspects. Also, due to industrialization and ever-increasing population, nano-pollution has been an emerging topic among scientists for investigation and debate. Nanotechnology measures...

Pesticides in Crop Production

A guide to the diversity of pesticides used in modern agricultural practices, and the relevant social and environmental issues Pesticides in Crop Production offers an important resource that explores pesticide action in plants; pesticide metabolism in soil microbes, plants and animals; bioaccumulation of pesticides and sensitiveness of microbiome towards pesticides. The authors explore pesticide risk assessment, the development of pesticide resistance in pests, microbial remediation of pesticide intoxicated legumes and pesticide toxicity amelioration in plants by plant hormones. The authors include information on eco-friendly pest management. They review the impact of pesticides on soil micr...

Reactive Oxygen Species in Plants

Describes the basics of ROS metabolism in plants and examines the broad range of ROS signaling mechanisms New discoveries about the effects of reactive oxygen species (ROS) on plants have turned ROS from being considered a bane into a boon, because their roles have been discovered in many plant developmental processes as signaling molecules. This comprehensive book teaches about the role of ROS metabolism in plants and how they affect various developmental processes. It also discusses in detail the advancements made in understanding the ROS signaling. Reactive Oxygen Species in Plants: Boon Or Bane - Revisiting the Role of ROS begins by presenting the basic introduction to ROS and deciphers ...
