Terry Schnadelbach, FAAR, is known for his creativity communicating a proposal in its physical space and form, employing color pencil perspectives Even though computer-generated, three- dimensional perspectives render a view of any part of a plan accurately, Schnadelbach, in his sketched perspectives, emphasized the design rather than computer-illustrations concept, which were accurate in every corner of the perspective most often confusing the viewer with its evenness. In his presentations, Schnadelbach generated a view rendering only the essential elements of the design.

Montague, a new form of illustration, has been utilized by R. Terry Schnadelbach, FAAR, in his numerous publications. Ordinary photographs cover a very limited amount of a landscape architecture composition. Often only 20% is shown and the author requires four and five photographs to capture the real landscape. Ordinary photography leaves the viewer with questions. What is just off-screen to the right, or to the left? What is the ground plane composed of and how does it relate to the whole? While nothing can compete with viewing a landscape in its totality, a montage technique can expand the limitations of a standard photographs. Using a technique called - an whole illustration comprised by parts of 'tileing" additional photographs that expand the boundaries of the space so as to include ground, sky and silhouette images. "Tileing" often can be used to show formal structure to elements of a compositions. This book is a compilation of many of his montage illustrations featured in his books: Space and Form: Theory in Landscape architecture.

"The gentleman's library was contained in beautifully wood-crafted, floor to ceiling bookshelves. The layout of the collection featured the rare and limited edition books. These works were typically large format, folio or boxed editions. Typically folios of linen-faced or marbled board, were made by adding a top, side and bottom folding flaps to a books back cover, which when closed and the folio's front cover is secured, resembled a box.
