A narrarne le avventure, dalla tomba al cimitero Père Lachaise, è il padre di Igor, Pierre, morto di Aids per una trasfusione. Grazie alla prospettiva stravolta e intenerita della voce narrante, cose e persone sono viste in modo insieme allucinato e lucido, favoloso e dolce. E alla fine sorge il dubbio che sia stato proprio Pierre a combinare tutto per restituire un po’ della felicità scomparsa con la sua morte.
