Komunikasi Terapeutik Keperawatan
Pada profesi keperawatan, komunikasi menjadi sangat penting karena komunikasi merupakan alat dalam melaksanakan proses keperawatan. Dalam asuhan keperawatan, komunikasi ditujukan untuk mengubah perilaku klien dalam mencapai tingkat kesehatan yang optimal. Komunikasi terapeutik berbeda dari komunikasi sosial, yaitu pada komunikasi terapeutik selalu terdapat tujuan atau arah yang spesifik untuk komunikasi. Keperawatan didasarkan pada penetapan hubungan merawat dan membantu. Hubungan ini adalah dasar dari interaksi yang membuat klien dan tim keperawatan menemukan pemahaman atas kebutuhan klien. Komunikasi yang efektif antara perawat-klien dan sesama perawat dapat membantu keberhasilan dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan pada klien.
