The Faculty of Economics and Business Bengkulu University (UNIB) Provinsi Bengkulu, Indonesia, organized the 3rd Beehive International Social Innovation Conference (BISIC) 2020 on 3rd- 4th Oct 2020 in Bengkulu, Indonesia. The number of participants who joined the zoom room was recorded at 450 participants. Participants came from 4 countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand. BISIC 2020 is implemented with the support of a stable internet network system and a zoom application. In the implementation there were several technical obstacles encountered by the participants, namely the difficulty of joining the zoom application due to the unstable internet signal. The holding of a virtual conference felt less meaningful, due to the lack of interaction between speakers and participants. The BICED 2020 committee 30 papers were presented and discussed. The papers were authored by researchers from Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesian. All papers have been scrutinized by a panel of reviewers who provide critical comments and corrections, and thereafter contributed to the improvement of the quality of the papers.
This is an open access book. The first Bengkulu International Seminar on Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (1st BICEMBA) will be held in Bengkulu, Indonesia, on October 4th, 2023. 1st BICEMBA aims to bring together academia, researchers, and scholars to exchange information and share experiences as well as research results in boosting optimism and revitalization by the scientific framework. This event provides an opportunity for all to network, share ideas, and present their research to a worldwide community. Discussion on these fields' latest innovations, trends, practical concerns, and challenges is also encouraged.
"Buku Ajar Pengantar Ilmu Ekonomi" adalah panduan esensial bagi pengajaran di perguruan tinggi, menyoroti konsep-konsep mendasar dalam ilmu ekonomi. Using the neo-classical theory of production economics as the analytical framework, this book, first published in 2004, provides a unified and easily comprehensible, yet fairly rigorous, exposition of the core literature on data envelopment analysis (DEA) for readers based in different disciplines. The various DEA models are developed as nonparametric alternatives to the econometric models. Apart from the standard fare consisting of the basic input- and output-oriented DEA models formulated by Charnes, Cooper, and Rhodes, and Banker, Charnes, and Cooper, the book covers developments such as the directional distance function, free disposal hull (FDH) analysis, non-radial measures of efficiency, multiplier bounds, mergers and break-up of firms, and measurement of productivity change through the Malmquist total factor productivity index. The chapter on efficiency measurement using market prices provides the critical link between DEA and the neo-classical theory of a competitive firm. The book also covers several forms of stochastic DEA in detail.

The approach is in the form of a study to obtain a valid methodology for extracting, collecting, storing, analyzing, and visualizing data including those derived from big data. The application studies cover various fields such as agriculture, climate, energy, industry, business, social, and so on. The conference is expected to be able to provide solutions to various problems in various fields through statistical and analytical approaches.
