Southeastern Europe is characterized by a high degree of ethnical, religious and cultural diversity. Jews, whether Sephardim, Ashkenazim or Romaniots – settling there in different periods – experienced divergent life worlds which engendered rich cultural production. Though recent scholarly and popular interest in this heterogeneous region has grown impressively, Jewish cultural production is still an under-researched area. Intertextualität im Werk von Ranko Marinković
Die an Intertextualitätsbezügen sehr reichen Prosa- und Dramentexte des kroatischen Autors Ranko Marinković (1913-2001) stehen im Mittelpunkt des Buches. Im Anschluss an die theoretischen Grundlagen werden diese zunächst unter dem Aspekt der Autotextualität und dann die Bezüge zu Texten der Weltliteratur, der kroatischen und serbischen Moderne und Avantgarde sowie zu Alltagstexten untersucht. Die Gattungsbezüge, die Sinnzusammenhänge im einzelnen Text und die Funktionen der Intertextualität bilden weitere Schwerpunkte.
Imaginationen von Transkulturalität und Geschlecht
Diese von Ingeborg Jandl, Goran Lazicic, Marizela Reithofer Bektic, Dijana Simic herausgegebene Festschrift würdigt das slawistische Wirken von Renate Hansen-KokoruS, das in ebenso viele Literaturen, Kulturen und Themenbereiche hineinreicht wie dieser Band. Die hier versammelten Beiträge zu Transkulturalität und Geschlecht widmen sich zwei spezifischen, miteinander verwobenen Aspekten von Identität sowie der Frage nach ihrer erzählerischen Vermittlung. Anhand von Narrativen aus dem süd- und ostslawischen Raum werden exemplarische Einblicke in vielfältige kulturell geprägte Konstellationen gegeben. Diese führen vom Südosten Europas bis nach Sibirien, wobei auch Russlands Hauptstädte und Orte in Mitteleuropa wichtige Stationen der Reise bilden. Transgressive Bilder von Weiblichkeit und Männlichkeit sowie die Diskussion der damit verbundenen sozialen Rollenbilder sind dabei zentral, was sich in subversiven Identitätskonstruktionen und satirisch-kritischen Überlegungen äußert. Das untersuchte Spektrum an kanonischen und weniger bekannten Texten spannt einen Bogen vom 17. Jahrhundert bis in die Gegenwart.
