The Family Strahin
William Strahan (fl. 1794-1830) lived in Preston County, Virginia (now West Virginia), and had at least three children (William, Mary, James) between 1794 and 1801. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, Missouri and elsewhere.
The William Arthur Family
William Arthur (1770-1848) married Mary (Polly) Friend at Clarksburg, Harrison County, Virginia (now West Virginia) in 1802, and later moved to Randolph (later Nicholas, now Webster) County, West Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and elsewhere. Includes genealogical data about Arthur individuals and families, possibly ancestors, in Virginia and New Jersey, some of whom served in the Revolutionary War.
