Thomas Maddock was born in Chester, Cheshire, England. He married Elizabeth SImcock. He emigrated in 1641 with his son Henry, who married Elizabeth Kennerly, and his family and settled in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Thomas died in 1690. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.
