Distinguishing between differentiating factors and non differentiating factors lies at the root of successful performance management, and ties it closely to the strategy. In this new, strategic approach to performance management, Roland Siebelink argues that the mission of the proactive strategist, performance manager or project portfolio manager is to take away resources from non differentiating areas that just allow the business to play, and to reinvest resources in differentiating areas that allow the business to win. Proactive performance managers can help increase the performance of business units by helping business unit management think through their business model and their priorities. Performance managers are well placed to ensure that a strategy is explicitly defined and that it makes explicit choices. This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the Third Annual Privacy Forum, APF 2015, held in Luxembourg, Luxembourg, in October 2015. The 11 revised full papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 24 submissions. The topics focus on privacy by design (PbD), i.e. the attempt to combine technical and organizational measures to ensure the basic rights of the individual. The papers are organized in three sessions: measuring privacy; rules and principles; legal and economic perspectives on privacy.
The emergence of ASEAN has made a significant difference to the regional politics of Southeast Asia. Now Southeast Asia has gained major bargaining power in world politics due to huge resources and raw materials the member country possesses. In the present situation it is at the center stage in matter related to political activity or economic activity. In fact, they provide a balance of power in the region dominated by China and India. It has a major role in providing stability in this region. Geographically it covers the land area of 3 percent of the total world’s land and 9 percent of the world’s population. History of this start from an association known as ASA (Association of Southeast Asia) later on ASEAN came to existence after signing of Bangkok declaration by the foreign ministers of five countries namely Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. From established it starts influencing the political activity in southeast Asia, later on the various forum are formed to regulate the economic activities in the region, and the forum was also established to discuss the security policy related to that region.
