This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the Third International Conference on Autonomic and Trusted Computing, ATC 2006, held in Wuhan, China in September 2006. Management of E-commerce and E-government
E-Commerce and E-Government has become known as the wave of the future for business all over the world. Whether large, small, or just starting, E-Commerce and E- Government have been the easier and more sufficient way to handle business. This book brings together revised and expanded versions of eighteen papers selected from the 2003 International Conference on Management of e-Commerce and e-Government. This book presents leading edge research in this new and exciting field. The ICMeCG 2003 has initially received a total of 176 submissions from Australia, China, Norway, UK, and USA. Unfortunately, risk of SARS prevented many authors from actually participating in the conference. The Program Committee of ICMeCG selected papers through a careful reviewing process. Although some papers remain devoted to conceptual and general discussion about e-Commerce management, many papers have adopted quantitative or formal analysis methods in their research. Results presented in these papers provide an important contribution, especially as compared with earlier research based on qualitative methods alone. This book presents cutting edge research in this new and exciting field.
Autonomic and Trusted Computing
No fewer than 55 revised full papers are presented in this volume, all given at the 4th International Conference on Autonomic and Trusted Computing, held in Hong Kong, China in July 2007. The papers, presented together with one keynote lecture, were carefully reviewed and selected from 223 submissions. The papers are organized in topical sections on, among others, cryptography and signatures, autonomic computing and services, and secure and trusted computing.
Grid and Cooperative Computing
The two-volume set LNCS 3032 and LNCS 3033 constitute the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the Second International Workshop on Grid and Cooperative Computing, GCC 2003, held in Shanghai, China in December 2003. The 176 full papers and 173 poster papers presented were carefully selected from a total of over 550 paper submissions during two rounds of reviewing and revision. The papers are organized in topical sections on grid applications; peer-to-peer computing; grid architectures; grid middleware and toolkits; Web security and Web services; resource management, scheduling, and monitoring; network communication and information retrieval; grid QoS; algorithms, economic models, and theoretical models of the grid; semantic grid and knowledge grid; remote data access, storage, and sharing; and computer-supported cooperative work and cooperative middleware.
Secure and Trust Computing, Data Management, and Applications
This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of two workshops held in conjunction with the 8th FIRA International Conference on Secure and Trust Computing, Data Management, and Applications, STA 2011, in Crete, Greece, in June 2011. STA 2011 is the first conference after the merger of the successful SSDU, UbiSec, and TRUST symposium series previously held from 2006 until 2010 in various locations. The 14 full papers of the IWCS 2011 and 10 papers of the STAVE 2011 workshop were carefully reviewed and individually selected from the lectures given at each workshop. The International Workshop on Convergence Security in Pervasive Environments, IWCS 2011, addresses the various theories and practical applications of convergence security in pervasive environments. The International Workshop on Security & Trust for Applications in Virtualized Environments, STAVE 2011, shows how current virtualization increases the sharing of compute, network and I/O resources with multiple users and applications in order to drive higher utilization rates, what replaces the traditional physical isolation boundaries with virtual ones.

Wired/Wireless Internet Communications
This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-conference proceedings of the 13th International Conference on Wired/Wireless Internet Communications, WWIC 2015, held in Malaga, Spain, in May 2015. The 31 papers presented in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 43 submissions.
