Lists citations with abstracts for aerospace related reports obtained from world wide sources and announces documents that have recently been entered into the NASA Scientific and Technical Information Database.
Divided into three parts, this work is a record of the direction Kuhn was taking during the last two decades of his life. It consists of essays in which he refines the basic concepts set forth in "Structure"--Paradigm shifts, incommensurability, and the nature of scientific progress.
The subject of the report is the problem of a semi-infinite dipole antenna driven in an azimuthally asymmetric manner by a TE sub 11 mode in a coaxial guide. An exact solution is obtained by the Wiener-Hopf technique and expressions derived for the reflection coefficient of the TE sub 11 mode, the directive gain, and the currents on the various conducting surfaces. Plots of the reflection coefficient, current distributions, and directive gain are presented and discussed.
