The editor, former Executive Secretary for the UN Diplomatic Conference of Plenipotentiaries on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court, gathers the work of 30 legal scholars and international lawyers from Africa, Europe, and the Americas to provide an account of the legislative history of the Elements of Crimes and the Rules of Procedure and Evidence.
