These proceedings were prepared in connection with the 14th International Conference on Approximation Theory, which was held April 7-10, 2013 in San Antonio, Texas. The conference was the fourteenth in a series of meetings in Approximation Theory held at various locations in the United States. The included invited and contributed papers cover diverse areas of approximation theory with a special emphasis on the most current and active areas such as compressed sensing, isogeometric analysis, anisotropic spaces, radial basis functions and splines. Classical and abstract approximation is also included. The book will be of interest to mathematicians, engineers\ and computer scientists working in approximation theory, computer-aided geometric design, numerical analysis and related application areas.

The Italian-annotated bibliography on tunas, tuna-like and billfish species is a sort of unicum, because for the very first time, it provides annotation in English for all papers published by Italian authors over the centuries in various languages. Taking into account that these species are an essential component of the Italian and Mediterranean culture, thousands of authors published a very high amount of papers since historical times, on various themes and subjects. These large fish species are nowadays not only essential elements of the marine trophic chain, but also important components of human seafood and the related fishery economy. This book makes all these papers internationally available for all scientists, helping them in their research activities and the annotations facilitate the searching work by species and keywords.

The two-volume set LNCS 9279 and 9280 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing, ICIAP 2015, held in Genoa, Italy, in September 2015. Conservation of Tropical Plant Species
The book is designed to provide a review on the methods and current status of conservation of the tropical plant species. It will also provide the information on the richness of the tropical plant diversity, the need to conserve, and the potential utilization of the genetic resources. Future perspectives of conservation of tropical species will be discussed. Gentry's Text History volume provides, in addition, a complete and full introduction which was not given in the critical edition. Since this introduction is in English, it will aid English-speaking scholars who find access to the critical editions difficult because the introductions are in German.
