Mit der Einführung der Bundesliga für A-Junioren wurde eine Struktur geschaffen, die die Basis für den vierten Stern der deutschen Fußballnationalmannschaft bei der WM-Endrunde 2014 in Brasilien legte. Der vorliegende Band I dokumentiert die Entwicklung der drei regionalen Ligen seit der Spielzeit 2003/04 bis zur Saison 2014/15 mit sämtlichen seitdem durchgeführten Spielen und umfasst umfangreiche Statistiken der Vereine und ihrer Spieler. Zudem sind sämtliche A-Jugend-Meisterschaften seit 1969 und die DFB-Junioren-Pokalwettbewerbe seit 1987 nachzulesen. Im für Sommer 2016 geplanten Band II werden neben der Dokumentation der Spielzeit 2015/16 die Entwicklung der Junioren-Leistungszentren der Vereine sowie ihrer Spieler dokumentiert und analysiert.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are set to revolutionize all industries, and the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) field is no exception. While ML, especially deep learning models, achieve great performance in terms of accuracy, the outcomes provided are not amenable to human scrutiny and can hardly be explained. This can be very problematic, especially for systems of a safety-critical nature such as transportation systems. Explainable AI (XAI) methods have been proposed to tackle this issue by producing human interpretable representations of machine learning models while maintaining performance. These methods hold the potential to increase public acceptance and trust in AI-based ITS.
