Weil er aber seiner Tochter Kitty, die in der Landeshauptstadt Graz studiert, keinen Wunsch abschlagen kann, nimmt er ihr zuliebe deren Freundin als Hausgast auf. Sandra Glück ist nicht nur attraktiver, als es für seinen Seelenfrieden gut ist. Mit ihrer herzlichen Art und ihrer Hilfsbereitschaft macht sie sich schnell in Funkelstein beliebt. Auch Max bleibt davon nicht unberührt, aber sich mit der besten Freundin seiner Tochter einzulassen, ist für ihn ein No-Go, auch wenn nur acht Jahre Altersunterschied zwischen ihnen liegen. Als auch noch überraschend seine Exfrau in Funkelstein auftaucht, ist es mit der Ruhe endgültig vorbei. Ein weihnachtlicher Wohlfühlroman mit viel Liebe, Romantik und einer Prise Humor.
