"Viajes" y "leyendas" son dos términos que ha dado vida a relatos tan reveladores como formativos. Cada capítulo de este libro es un testimonio, un ejercicio periodístico, una catarsis literaria, una aventura vivida y también soñada, una invitación al viaje y, por encima de todo, un sugerente material que ayudará a todo buen viajero… Además, el proyecto tiene una meta solidaria: Los beneficios del libro estarán dirigidos a la Asociación Asturiana de Lucha contra la Fibrosis Quística (FQ).
Viajar, sentir y pensar
Convocamos, de repente, a un puñado de viejos y buenos amigos. Todos, viajeros. Les pedimos que "juntaran palabras" para explicar, recordar y compartir "sus" viajes. El motivo era una causa justa: La defensa de los pueblos indígenas que habitan el planeta. No tenían que explicar todos sus viajes. Tampoco, uno en concreto. Únicamente, debían reflexionar sobre uno de tantos sentimientos que acompañan el "antes", el "durante" y el "después" de cada periplo y aventura viajera. Todos aceptaron el reto. On Othering
In every sphere of life, division and intolerance have polarized communities and entire nations. The learned construction of the Other—an evil “enemy” against whom both physical and discursive violence is deemed acceptable—has fractured humanity, creating divisions that seemingly defy reconciliation.
