THE ART OF TELEVASCULOBIOMEDICINE 5.0

In "The Art of Televasculobiomedicine 5,0" by Dito Anurogo and Niko Azhari Hidayat, a meticulous examination of the synergistic integration of telemedicine, vascular surgery, and biomedicine is adeptly presented. The narrative initiates with a foundational exploration, offering readers an evolutionary journey through the intricate landscapes of Televasculobiomedicine, marked by its preceding four developmental phases. Telemedicine is heralded for its revolutionary attributes in augmenting accessibility, amplifying efficiency, and engendering cost-effectiveness in healthcare. The authors navigate the complex domains of vascular surgery, concurrently unveiling the pivotal contributions of biom...

Bioplastic

What Is Bioplastic Bioplastics are plastic materials produced from renewable biomass sources, such as vegetable fats and oils, corn starch, straw, woodchips, sawdust, recycled food waste, etc. Some bioplastics are obtained by processing directly from natural biopolymers including polysaccharides and proteins, while others are chemically synthesised from sugar derivatives and lipids from either plants or animals, or biologically generated by fermentation of sugars or lipids. In contrast, common plastics, such as fossil-fuel plastics are derived from petroleum or natural gas.

Dung for Dinner

Discover the stomach-churning truth about the animal poop, pee, vomit, and secretions that humans have eaten throughout history—and sometimes still do—in Christine Virnig's laugh-out-loud middle-grade nonfiction debut. Dung for Dinner is illustrated by Korwin Briggs. From Roman charioteers scarfing wild boar dung to astronauts guzzling their own pee to today's kids spreading insect vomit on their toast, this humorous compendium is chock-full of history, science, and fascinatingly gross facts. Bug secretions coating your candy corn? Rodent poop in your popcorn? Physicians tasting their patients' pee? It’s deliciously disgusting! *SCBWI Golden Kite Award Finalist for Older Nonfiction

In his 1978 book Nelson Goodman coined the term “worldmaking.” The new-materialistic approach to the potential for meaning of extra-human materiality and its multidimensional entanglements and the intraconnectedness shifts the concept of world-making into new perspectives of interpretation. In the categories of Karen Barad’s “agential realism,” it applies to practices of knowledge production and to a diffractive (re)configuration of the world’s matter and its meaning. “World-making” gains a further specific expression in Donna Haraway’s concept of “worlding” which shows the intraactive entanglement of matter, substance, meaning, storytelling and thinking on the fundamental level of the polysemic linguistic tissue itself.
