"Nichtparametrische Datenanalyse" enthält eine umfassende Darstellung von nichtparametrischen Methoden zur statistischen Modellierung und Auswertung von Experimenten, wobei viele seit langem bekannte Verfahren in einer neuartigen Sichtweise beschrieben werden. Diese gestattet nicht nur die einheitliche Behandlung von metrischen Daten mit stetigen sowie beliebig unstetigen Verteilungen, sondern auch die Analyse von ordinalen und sogar dichotomen Daten mit den gleichen Methoden.
