This three-volume set LNCS 14406-14408 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 7th Asian Conference on Pattern Recognition, ACPR 2023, held in Kitakyushu, Japan, in November 2023. The 93 full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 164 submissions. The conference focuses on four important areas of pattern recognition: pattern recognition and machine learning, computer vision and robot vision, signal processing, and media processing and interaction, covering various technical aspects.
Pattern Recognition
This volume constitutes the refereed proceedings, presented during the ACPR 2019 Workshops, held in Auckland, New Zealand, in November 2019. The 17 full papers and 6 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected out of numerous submissions. The papers are organized according to the topics of the workshops: computer vision for modern vehicles; advances and applications on generative deep learning models; image and pattern analysis for multidisciplinary computational anatomy; multi-sensor for action and gesture recognition; towards the automatic data processing chain for airborne and spaceborne sensors.
MultiMedia Modeling
The two-volume set LNCS 10132 and 10133 constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the 23rd International Conference on Multimedia Modeling, MMM 2017, held in Reykjavik, Iceland, in January 2017. Of the 149 full papers submitted, 36 were selected for oral presentation and 33 for poster presentation; of the 34 special session papers submitted, 24 were selected for oral presentation and 2 for poster presentation; in addition, 5 demonstrations were accepted from 8 submissions, and all 7 submissions to VBS 2017. All papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 198 submissions. MMM is a leading international conference for researchers and industry practitioners for sharing new ideas, original research results and practical development experiences from all MMM related areas, broadly falling into three categories: multimedia content analysis; multimedia signal processing and communications; and multimedia applications and services.
MultiMedia Modeling
The two-volume set LNCS 10704 and 10705 constitutes the thoroughly refereed proceedings of the 24th International Conference on Multimedia Modeling, MMM 2018, held in Bangkok, Thailand, in February 2018. Of the 185 full papers submitted, 46 were selected for oral presentation and 28 for poster presentation; in addition, 5 papers were accepted for Multimedia Analytics: Perspectives, Techniques, and Applications, 12 extended abstracts for demonstrations ,and 9 accepted papers for Video Browser Showdown 2018. All papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 185 submissions.
Computer Vision and Image Processing
This two volume set (CCIS 1776-1777) constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 7th International Conference on Computer Vision and Image Processing, CVIP 2022, held in Nagpur, India, November 4–6, 2022. The 110 full papers and 11 short papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 307 submissions. Out of 121 papers, 109 papers are included in this book. The topical scope of the two-volume set focuses on Medical Image Analysis, Image/ Video Processing for Autonomous Vehicles, Activity Detection/ Recognition, Human Computer Interaction, Segmentation and Shape Representation, Motion and Tracking, Image/ Video Scene Understanding, Image/Video Retrieval, Remote Sensing, Hyperspectral Image Processing, Face, Iris, Emotion, Sign Language and Gesture Recognition, etc.
Document Analysis and Recognition - ICDAR 2023
This six-volume set of LNCS 14187, 14188, 14189, 14190, 14191 and 14192 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 17th International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition, ICDAR 2021, held in San José, CA, USA, in August 2023. The 53 full papers were carefully reviewed and selected from 316 submissions, and are presented with 101 poster presentations.
