Sentinel Landscapes initiative
This publication is part of the Sentinel Landscape network initiative established in eight sites around the world representative of widely different biophysical and socioeconomic contexts. Here we present and summarize the results of the research and baseline studies carried out in West Kalimantan, Borneo. Within the Kapuas Hulu regency, two districts were selected as ‘sentinel sites’: (1) a traditionally managed landscape with direct influence on watersheds to the north of Danau Sentarum National Park wetlands (Batang Lupar); and (2) a contrasting area in the south with improved infrastructure along the mainsouthern road from Sintang to Putussibau, to bring a different context (Mentebah).

PICEI 2022
Pedagogika International Conference on Educational Innovation (PICEI) is an international conference held by the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. This conference took place at Damhil Hotel, Gorontalo, Indonesia, on 15 September 2022. The conference covers six disciplines in the Faculty of Education which are Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Non-formal Education, Guidance and Counselling, Educational Management, and Psychology. The theme of the conference is “Building Resilience in Education in the Time of New Normal”. This conference activity is designed for stakeholders, practitioners, and students in the educational environment. In its implementation, scientific conferences collaborate with 10 (ten) universities and ISMAPI as the co-host with 25 articles published in this proceedings.
Microwave Sleep Apnoea Monitoring
This book presents the design, development and field trials of radio frequency based wireless monitoring system for sleep apnoea patients. It contains 4 major areas including general background of wireless monitoring technology and MIMO in wireless body area network (WBAN), microwave hardware designs, virtual MIMO in WBAN and hardware system level implementation and field trials. At components level, this book presents the design theory, process and examples of bandpass filters, lowpass filters, low profile patch antennas, power amplifiers and oscillators which are the key elements in transducer designs in the body area network and cooperative communication wireless sensor network system. The Canon in Southeast Asian Literature
The literary canon is one of the most lively areas of debate in contemporary literary studies. This set of essays is both timely and original in its focus on the canon in South-East Asian literatures, covering Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. They vary in focus, from the broad panoramic survey of trends in a national literature to very specific discussions of the role of individuals in shaping a canon or the place of a particular text within a tradition, and from contemporary to traditional literature. They include discussions of the development of prose fiction, censorship and artistic freedom, the role of westerners in codifying indigenous literatures, the writing of literary history, the development of literary criticism and indigenous aesthetics.
