The Star Protocol

The Star Protocol is science-fiction on steroids. The story races along following the adventures of its Delta Force protagonists, Will and Dash; their MI6 buddy, John; archaeologists, Alex and Cassandra and others with whom they are thrown together as they try to outrun events that are out-pacing them. Secrets of the universe have lain hidden in ancient writings and artefacts for centuries. The news from the stars is not great for mankind. The mismatched group, thrown together by violent circumstance have little choice but to take their quest to alien worlds. Will and Dash have the courage and training, Alex and Cassandra have the in-depth knowledge ... and John has a secret. They meet new challenges and forge new alliances, stumbling from one dire situation to another as they struggle to learn what they need to know in order to head off catastrophe. The denouement when it comes is dramatic and satisfying, and with a sting in its tail.

Everything can be quantified. All worth can be quantified. Artistic worth. Human worth. Material worth. Everything. Some food is simply better than other food. Isn't it? Some clothes are better than other clothes. Aren't they? The last week of a massive international tour and rock star Paul is at the height of his fame. Everybody knows his name. Whatever he wants he can have. He can screw anybody he wants to. He can buy anything he desires. He can eat anything. Drink anything. Smoke anything. Go anywhere. As the inevitability of the end of the road looms closer and a return home becomes a reality, for Paul the music is starting to jar. Birdland received its world premiere at the Royal Court Theatre Downstairs on 3 April 2014.

Hansard

Hansard; noun The official report of all parliamentary debates. It's a summer's morning in 1988 and Tory politician Robin Hesketh has returned home to the idyllic Cotswold house he shares with his wife of 30 years, Diana. But all is not as blissful as it seems. Diana has a stinking hangover, a fox is destroying the garden, and secrets are being dug up all over the place. As the day draws on, what starts as gentle ribbing and the familiar rhythms of marital sparring quickly turns to blood-sport. A witty and devastating new play. Hansard premiered at the National Theatre, London, in August 2019.

I feel like asking him to stay. To never leave this room. But I know that soon he will leave and... I'm going to ring him that night. I'm not going to write anything down. I might not even say anything. Just listen to him breathe. Lucy and Jim are alone. To the world they seem to be doing alright: they have jobs, friends, ambitions (well, sort of). But inside they are drowning. Until their chance meeting on a London night bus leads to a desperate search for redemption, each through the other. Inevitably, though, their hopes for salvation are dashed as deep-rooted insecurities rise to the surface. City Love is an unflinching look at the opposing human needs for companionship and self-destruction. Sharp observations transform the mundane into the epic in this grim, witty and agonizingly real play that will pierce the heart of anyone who has ever been in love.

The Man Who Found Himself is a humorous story of a sober, renowned magistrate, Simon Pettigrews. The author makes the readers laugh with several comical events of Simon's recurring episodes of "youthful folly." The fact that he is left with no memory of these foolish episodes makes this story even more hilarious and adds to the excitement. The authors of the work, Margaret Robson Stacpoole, and H. De Vere Stacpoole, have described the events with remarkable vividness. The readers can visualize them happening in front of them. It's a delightful read with amusing characters portrayed beautifully. The unique story of a reputed older man acting cluelessly like a child will absorb readers.
