One of her most famous works is the celebrated Dance Constructions (1960/61) which incorporate minimal objects made of plywood and ropes, and which created radically new ways of looking at dance. This volume showcases her range of artistic media including holograms, drawing, sound pieces, videos and documentations of performances. Tracing a period in her life from the 1969 Woodstock Festival through the following years living on the land, this singular dance artist's direct and poetic writings bring a turbulent transitional era to life.
