Kiltin tytön kapina
Kun kirjailija Leila Simonen käynnisti Body-projektin 1990-luvun alussa, ideana oli kokoontua yhteen naisryhmän kanssa ja keskustella kehollisuudesta sekä naiseksi kasvamisesta. "Kiltin tytön kapina" on yhteenveto näistä keskusteluista. Kirja koostaa yhteen yhdeksän naisen kokemuksia ja muistoja. Se sukeltaa avoimesti niin naisten ruumiinkuviin, naiseuden kokemiin vammoihin kuin myös seksifantasioihin. Kirja on kiinnostava läpileikkaus naiseuteen ja siihen, miten eri-ikäiset naiset kokivat naiseuden 1990-luvun alussa. Leila Simonen (s. 1951) on suomalainen kirjailija ja yhteiskuntatieteiden tohtori. Hän on kirjoittanut tietokirjoja sekä viisi rikosylikonstaapeli Susanna "Susi" Teräsvuon tutkimuksia kuvaavaa dekkaria.
