Kajian Topik-topik Mutakhir dan Agenda Riset ke Depan
Buku ini merupakan seri ke 4 dari buku-buku metodologi penelitian yang diterbitkan oleh Program Magister Sains dan Doktor Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis UGM. Buku ini memfokuskan pada pembahasan kajian literatur ilmu ekonomi, manajemen, akuntasi, dan sistem informasi. Isi buku ini dibagi ke dalam empat bagian besar. Bagian pertama yaitu kajian literatur untuk penelitian-penelitian di bidang manajemen yang terdiri dari tiga bab, yaitu bab 1, 2 dan 3. Bagian kedua dari buku ini membahas kajian literatur untuk penelitian-penelitian di bidang akuntansi yang disajikan di bab 4, 5, 6, 7, dan 8. Bagian ketiga hanya berisi satu bab yaitu bab 9 yang membahas kajian literatur untuk penelitian di bidang ilmu ekonomi. Bagian terakhir dari buku ini yaitu bagian keempat membahas kajian literatur untuk penelitian-penelitian di bidang sistem informasi yaitu di bab 10 dan bab 11.

Strategi Penelitian Bisnis
Buku ini merupakan seri ke 2 buku yang diterbitkan oleh Program Studi Magister Sains dan Doktor Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Buku seri 1 sudah diterbitkan dengan judul “Filosofi Penelitian.” Buku seri 1 itu membahas fi losofi dan pendekatan-pendekatan atau paradigma-paradigma dalam melakukan penelitian. Setelah peneliti menentukan paradigma penelitian yang dipilih, tahap berikutnya adalah menentukan strategi penelitiannya. Buku seri ke 2 ini membahas mengenai strategi-strategi penelitian yang dapat dilakukan. Strategi-strategi penelitian dapat dikelompokkan dua kelompok utama, yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Strategi penelitian kuantitatif yang dibahas di buku adalah survei baik survei manual maupun survei internet (bab 1, 2, dan 3), studi kasus kuantitatif (bab 4), eksperimen (bab 6, dan 7), dan analisis sitasi bibliometrik (bab 11). Strategi penelitian kualitatif yang dibahas di buku adalah studi kasus kualitatif (bab 5), grounded theory (bab 8), etnografi (bab 9), dan phenomenology (bab 10).
