Before Arnold, cinematically and in bodybuilding annals, there was Steve Reeves. With the breathtaking lines and classic style, the man took his genetic blueprint and raced away with it, creating arguably the most impressive physique in the history of the planet. No, not the biggest (though he had great size), and no, not the most ripped (though he had considerable definition), but certainly as greatly and carefully proportioned, shaped and attended a physique as we’ve ever seen. You might get a vastly better physique by incorporating something of the Reeves approach to training. Not that you’ll be Reeves--you don’t get Larry Scott’s arms by doing his arm workout, but in the case of Reeves-style training, your chances are very good that you’ll be on the road to achieving your own best physique, with your own individual style. Sound good? Let’s go.

Next there was Steve Reeves the actor who filled our movie theater screens with sensational, larger than life portrayals. He played the lead in fifteen movies including Hercules, The Thief of Baghdad, Duel of the Titans, Son of Spartacus, and Goliath and the Barbarians. His personal favorite was Long Ride from Hell - his only West...

"ACTION STEPS FOR OUR STORY."In my new season of post-retirement, after forty years of local pastoralministry, I am currently serving as an advisor with The Center for ChurchLeadership, located in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am indebted to Tim Wallingfordand Jeffrey Derico for the material at the end of chapters 1-7 on "The SevenPriorities of Jesus."This book is a celebration of what it means to be restored to the Lord andHis Church! Since Jesus is the only Head of the Church, it is most appropriateto consider "The Seven Priorities of Jesus," as we and our churches takeACTION STEPS in the ongoing process of being Restored!
The Most Fascinating Story Ever Told About The Legendary Steve ReevesSteve was placed in the Montana Deaconess orphanage/boarding school at the age of six after his father was killed in a farming accident and his mother couldn't care for him. Eventually he was reunited with his mother and they moved to Oakland, California. Reeves took up bodybuilding and won every major contest in just three and a half years. Today he is considered to be one of the greatest bodybuilders that ever stepped onto a posing platform and has become a legend in bodybuilding and fitness. Later Steve pursued an acting career then in 1959 with the release of Hercules, he became the number one box office draw in the world. Throughout the late 50's and early 60's he continued making films, starring in fifteen, until abruptly retiring at the young age of forty-two. Steve was an avid horseman, raising prize winning Morgan horses and Red Angus cattle on his two ranches. He invented Powerwalking and authored a book by the same name. He also authored two other books, Building The Classic Physique - The Natural Way and Dynamic Muscle Building.
