Steven Meisel
Born and raised in New York City, Steven Meisel took up the camera in the early 80's and quickly became one of the most influential photographers in fashion. While other photographers depend a trademark style, Meisel is known for his extraordinarily diverse and imaginative body of work as well as for his mastery of every facet of his craft, from lighting to hair and make-up.
