Buku bahan ajar Audit Laporan Keuangan (Perencanaan Audit) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran penjelasan bagaimana menyusun perencanaan audit dalam proses audit laporan keuangan. Dalam buku ini dibagi beberapa bagian yaitu materi mengenai perencanaan audit, pemahaman bisnis dan industi klien, pemahaman tingkat materialitas dan pemahaman risiko audit. Pada tahap kedua buku ini memberikan contoh penerapan serta menggambarkan mengenai proses perencanaan audit yaitu penjelasan industri dan informasi perusahaan, pemahaman prosedur internal perusahaan, contoh penjelasan akun-akun transaksi laporan keuangan, pelaksanaan prosedur audit dan contoh kertas kerja yang akan digunakan.
