American Origins
This is a reprint of David Trimble's most popular book, American Origins. Brought back by popular demand. Because David sold all copies of this book years ago, I was unable to obtain one in "like new" condition. This book was created by scanning the pages of someone's used copy. It will contain a few markings and notes but still serves as an excellent Genealogy reference.
Archerd
John Archerd was born in Somerset, England in 1770. He married Mary McMichael (d. 1816) in 1799 in Ohio. He married Elizabeth Hays in 1818. Descendant Rufus Hays Archerd (1822-1898) married Nancy Rebecca Simmons (1823-1867).
Moored Current Meter and Wind Recorder Measurements Near Point Conception, California
The OPUS (Organization of Persistent Upwelling Structures) program deployed two current meter (VMCM) moorings near Point Conception, California, during April-July 1983. Current and temperature data from these moorings are summarized here. In addition, data from two nearby NDBC (National Data Buoy Center) meteorological buoys are presented.
