She was a descendant of Daniel Kennedy who was likely born in Scotland and immigrated to America in the late 1700s. Susan married John Edgar Edwards ca. 1879. John died 17 July 1882 in Llano Co., Texas and Susan married William Wesley Cochran 13 November 1889 in Texas. Descendants of Susan Kennedy Edwards Cochran lived in Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia and elsewhere.
