Requirements Targeting Software and Systems Engineering
This book constitutes the strictly refereed post-workshop proceedings of the International Workshop on Requirements Targeting Software and Systems Engineering, RTSE '97, held in Bernried, Germany in October 1997. The 15 revised full papers presented in the book were carefully revised and reviewed for inclusion in the book. Among the authors are internationally leading researchers. The book is divided in sections on foundations of software engineering, methodology, evaluation and case studies, and tool support and prototyping.

Programming Methodology
Written by the members of the IFIP Working Group 2.3 (Programming Methodology) this text constitutes an exciting reference on the front-line of research activity in programming methodology. Formal Methods at the Crossroads. From Panacea to Foundational Support
This volume is devoted to the 10th Anniversary Colloquium of UNU/IIST, the International Institute for Software Technology of the United Nations University, as well as to the memory of Armando Haeberer, who passed away while he was working on the preparation of this book in February 2003. The volume starts with a special paper by Tom Maibaum recollecting Armando Haeberer's life and work. The second part presents work done by members of UNU/IIST as well as a paper on the history of the institute. This book presents the refereed proceedings of the Third International Symposium of Formal Methods Europe, FME '96, held in Oxford, UK, in March 1996. FME '96 was co-sponsored by IFIP WG 14.3 and devoted to "the application and demonstrated industrial benefit of formal methods, their new horizons and strengthened foundations". The 35 full revised papers included were selected from a total of 103 submissions; also included are three invited papers. This book constitutes the refereed post-proceedings of the Third IFIP WG 9.7 Conference on the History of Nordic Computing, HiNC3, held in Stockholm, Sweden, in October 2010. The 50 revised full papers presented together with a keynote address and a panel discussion were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions. The papers focus on the application and use of ICT and ways in which technical progress affected the conditions of the development and use of ICT systems in the Nordic countries covering a period from around 1970 until the beginning of the 1990s. Domain Science and Engineering
In this book the author explains domain engineering and the underlying science, and he then shows how we can derive requirements prescriptions for computing systems from domain descriptions. A further motivation is to present domain descriptions, requirements prescriptions, and software design specifications as mathematical quantities.
