'An excellent and entertaining read' Daily Mail 'A love story and political comment, a defence of the art of fiction, a masterpiece' Evening Standard 'Rich and splendid...viciously funny and a rip-roaring read' Elle A Vicious Circle exposes the corruption of London's journalistic circuit, the horrors of our hospitals and slums, and the transformations caused by motherhood. Gripping, tender and fiercely funny, it has been instantly recognised as a modern classic about the way we live now.

Introduction Dear Reader, Welcome to my world of Poetry. Over the last few years I've done a lot of introspective thinking. To put thoughts on paper l decided to use Poetry as a medium. I feel it is the most efficient way to describe what you are feeling in the most concise manner. I once attempted to write a novel, but it just didn't feel right. Thanks so much for purchasing my book. I hope that you will find something in the following pages to identify with. If I can make you smile or perhaps evoke a single tear through my poems then I will consider my job done. Please keep on reading! Sincerely, Craig

Ronald Craig's death from arsenic poisoning riles up lot of feathers in a small country side with each person having a strong motif! Excerpt: "You say you're going up to town, Bob, as soon as you've left here. Anywhere near Pont Street? Good. Then do you mind wheeling that nearer to me?" The sick man waved a thin, but still brown hand, to where a little writing cabinet, shaped like a miniature roll-top desk, stood on a swing table. "Thanks," he went on. "Just wait a minute, will you, while I write a note. If you'll drop it in Houghton's letter-box, or hand it in yourself, I shall be much obliged." He hesitated. "Yourself," he repeated. "It's most important, and I don't want to wait for the post."
'With two dogs you can direct a flock of sheep. With two thousand sheep you can stop a squadron of cavalry.’ Overseas police advisor and counterterrorism expert Peter Craig is in Tunis, advising security services who are reeling from an epidemic of raids on banks, armouries and medical stores, and protests that are becoming increasingly violent. Kidnapped by revolutionaries and rescued in brutal fashion by mysterious vigilantes, Craig realises there are several agendas at work, and the instigators are as likely to be found at the Embassy parties his government host as in the street battles he's tasked with preventing.
