Cloudy Crystal Balls
An inventory of existing SS relevant for Europe in the context of sustainable development (SD), incl. European & global models. Provides a useful review of a selected number of scenarios & pinpoints their strengths & weaknesses. Scenario methodology is an essential tool which allows policy makers to look into a crystal ball. However, the existing SS & models are not capable of dealing with the complex issues dealt with by, for example, the European Environ. Agency (EEA).
